The grade of incomplete (“I”) may be given to a student doing acceptable work who has been unable to complete course requirements on time due to extreme illness or a verifiable emergency. Arrangements for an “incomplete” grade are made between the faculty member and the student. An instructor will grant an incomplete only when 50% or less of the course requirements remain.

Students granted an Incomplete have 30 days from the end of their term to complete their coursework. An “Incomplete” not made up within the allotted time will be automatically converted to a final grade of “F." Incompletes cannot be extended beyond the 30-day extension.
